Alice Atakhanian is an internationally recognized beauty entrepreneur, celebrity makeup artist, educator, television personality, mentor, and founder of multiple successful beauty businesses. With more than 27 years of experience in the beauty industry, she has dedicated her life to transforming lives through beauty, education, innovation, and service.

From childhood, two things were evident about Alice: her love for beauty and artistry, and her passion for helping others. She always believed that beauty is not simply about appearance—it is about building confidence, inspiring people, and changing lives.

Alice began her professional makeup career in 1997, training under world-renowned makeup artists, including David Altizer and Hollywood airbrush makeup artist Dina Ousley. She mastered both traditional and airbrush makeup and quickly developed a reputation for excellence.

In 2004, Alice opened her first beauty studio, Alice Makeup Land, becoming one of the first and most recognized Airbrush Makeup Specialists in the community. Her signature bridal makeup quickly made her one of the most sought-after artists, serving thousands of brides, celebrities, actors, actresses, singers, television personalities, and public figures. Her work has been featured in television, movies, music videos, concerts, fashion shows, magazines, and international beauty events.

From 2005 to 2009, Alice hosted her own beauty television program on Persian and Armenian satellite television, reaching viewers around the world. She also traveled internationally, including Dubai and other countries, teaching professional makeup artistry and airbrush techniques while inspiring the next generation of artists.

Believing that knowledge should be shared, Alice founded AML Academy (Alice Makeup Land Academy) in 2011, where she trained future beauty professionals in professional makeup, airbrush makeup, hairstyling, and advanced beauty techniques. She also created her own professional cosmetics line, Luscious by Alice, manufactured in New York and trusted by professionals and students alike.

Throughout her career, Alice has organized numerous bridal shows, educational seminars, fashion productions, beauty events, and charitable community projects. One of her most memorable accomplishments was organizing and gifting a complete dream wedding to a deserving couple with the support of many respected wedding vendors who admired her professionalism, integrity, and leadership.

Alice later founded Beyond Beauty Parlor, creating a modern boutique salon where talented beauty professionals work together in a luxurious and welcoming environment. She then expanded her vision by opening a beautiful 7,000-square-foot AML Academy & Salon in Glendale, bringing education and professional salon services together under one roof.

In 2022, after serving for four years as the organizer and promoter for internationally renowned hairstylist Georgy Kot—one of the world’s most respected and influential hair artists, internationally recognized for his creativity, innovation, education, and artistic excellence—Alice Atakhanian and Georgy Kot shared the vision of bringing his world-class educational system to the United States. Together, they decided to establish the official U.S. branch of Georgy Kot Academy.

To bring this vision to life, Georgy Kot Academy USA was established in Woodland Hills, California by Alice Atakhanian, together with partner Bahare Shah and shareholder Karineh. Alice played a leading role in developing the academy’s educational vision, boutique concept, branding, organization, curriculum, and student-centered learning environment. Guided by her belief that quality is more important than quantity, she created a modern boutique academy focused on personalized education, limited class sizes, discipline, professionalism, hands-on training, and preparing students for successful careers in the beauty industry.

In 2026, Alice opened Velora Head Spa & Salon, a luxury Japanese-inspired head spa and boutique salon dedicated to advanced scalp therapy, hair restoration, wellness, beauty, and relaxation. Every detail reflects her commitment to creating an exceptional experience where clients leave feeling refreshed, confident, and cared for.

Beyond her professional achievements, Alice considers her greatest calling to be serving God and serving people.

On August 5, 2017, Alice gave her life to Jesus Christ and became a born-again Christian. Since that day, her faith has guided every aspect of her personal and professional life. She believes God has blessed her with the spiritual gifts of giving and serving, and she strives to use those gifts to glorify Him by helping others.

For more than a decade, Alice has quietly supported families in Armenia by helping provide food, clothing, education, and financial assistance to children and families in need. She believes that true generosity is not measured by recognition but by love and compassion.

Education has always been one of Alice’s greatest passions. She believes every individual deserves the opportunity to learn a profession, become financially independent, and build a better future. Teaching is not simply her profession—it is her ministry.

In 2025, Alice founded Faith and Mission, a nonprofit organization established to serve underprivileged families, support children’s education, provide humanitarian assistance, and bring hope through practical acts of kindness. Her vision is to continue expanding this mission by helping families, supporting education, and creating housing opportunities for those in need.

Alice believes that faith without action is incomplete. She lives by the conviction that love must be demonstrated through service, compassion, generosity, and humility. Her greatest desire is to leave a legacy that extends far beyond beauty—a legacy of faith, education, hope, and love.

Today, Alice continues to mentor future beauty professionals, build businesses that inspire excellence, and devote her life to serving others. She believes that while outward beauty may open a door, it is the beauty within our hearts that truly changes the world.
